Hong Kong Miniature Pinscher, introducing our newest family member - ‘POQUENA’

This is POQUENA/POKENA (female portuguese for little).

She is our two month old Mini Pinscher. We bought her on Monday in Mei Foo at one of the puppy shops of Victory Street, Hong Kong’s puppy street.

She is adorable and very lively. She is already learning toilet training. Today is very cold, so I went to the puppy shop to try find her a doggy sweater, but they don’t make them in such small size. So I cut up a wooly sock and she now has a homemade doggy sweater… We also bought her a little house and some doggy treats.

She is now sleeping in her sweater and house. We joined the Yahoo Group MiniPinTalk and so far have found some really good tips about this breed that they call the “King of Toy Dogs”… Well our little Poquena is the QUEEN…
